Got the Hood Inter(net)actions email today with this in it:
Monday, February 16, 6 PM, TAKE A KID TO THE GAME! TAKG is a NCAA sponsored program that encourages local youth to enjoy local college hoops. Bring your child to the double-header women's and men's basketball games against conference rival Chestnut Hill. Games, prizes and other fun events for the "kids" in attendance. Men's game is at 6 PM, Governor Thomas Johnson High School Gymnasium. Tickets are $4/person, kids 12 and under free and parents bringing children to the game will receive $1 off the ticketed price. 7:30 PM tip off for the women's basketball game at Hood College, Gambrill Gymnasium, admission is free. Basketball fun for all!
Another night like this was in a previous email. Again, I question why this is considered a double header. The games are played at 2 different places that you can't walk between if you want to make the second game on time. It really erks me that men's games cost money and are not played on campus.
RRRRAAAAAARRRRR!!!
PS, that sentence that starts with "Games" is bad grammar, is it not? There's no verb...
