So I read the Parade magazine this morning, that comes with the Sunday inserts (which we get on Saturday). The cover story today was The Worlds Ten Worst Dictators. By clicking on that link, for some reason you cannot see the list but you can see the "Dishonorable Mentions". So, here is the list for you (in order from 1-10): Kim Jong Il (North Korea), Than Shwe (Burma), Hu Jintao (China), Robert Mugabe (Zimbabwe), Crown Prince Abdullah (Saudi Arabia), Teodoro Obiang Nguema (Equatorial Guinea), Omar Al-Bashir (Sudan), Saparmurat Niyazov (Turkmenistan), Fidel Castro (Cuba, duh), and King Mswati III (Swaziland). Some of the things these men do are beyond belief, as I am sure you know or can guess. The Turkmenistan man has his picture on all money, statues everywhere, requires all children to read his book in school, and government employees must memorize passages of his book to keep their jobs. The Zimbabwean (?) allows elections but restricts their campaigning. He arrested and charged with treason a man of opposition who received 42% of votes. He has been in power since 1980. The E.Guinea man has been in power since 1979, longest of these men besides Castro. The state radio there announced that he "is in permanent contact with the Almighty and can decide to kill without anyone calling him to account and without going to Hell".

Why the hell do these people feel they have more rights to do shit to others than the others have? I know this is a long standing issue over time but come on. People are just ridiculously power hungry and it makes me sick.

Also in the parade, the column dedicated to teens asked them what their favorite cars were. These kids piss me off. One 18 year old thinks "watching moms freak out is hilarious" so she wants a Cooper and to take her mom for a ride in it. She loved the car after seeing it in The Italian Job and thinks it's "perfect for stunts and chases". Are you going to be doing stunts and chases in the car? Cuz seriously...anyway, another girl has a brother who lives in Liberia, where he would not be able to drive her dream car, a pink Chevy Corvette. She wants to take him for a ride on a "lonely road with lots of curves and drive 90 mph". And you want to be killed? How about a lonely STRAIGHT road and drive 90? Or, you could not drive 90 at all...lol...That girl is 16.

Enough about that...I have the house to myself for a few hours while Cari and mom go to a movie...yay!
