"Democrats are sexy...who ever heard of a great piece of elephant?"

How irritated was I when reading the blog entry titled "More Election Mischief". It's also mentioned here. It's so sad that repubs have had to resort to such drastic ways to make sure they win. Obviously, they are scared they may not. I don't remember hearing this shit happening 4 years ago.

Got a little teary watching this great ad. Some more great ads, the second one with the woman crying of course made me cry as well. Look down left side for a Jimmy, the Cab Driver ad!

Go sign this petition. I can't believe the shit I am seeing today...

Love this...#29 has been a big point I like to make. All this talk about Kerry and Edwards not being in Senate to vote...and Bush has had the most vacation of any president? Give me a break and stop mentioning the lack of voting. Honestly, I'd LOVE to see Cheney's Senate voting record in the 80s.

Still love these panties.

Oh how frustrating...I know it's old but it's important.

I guess that's all for now...Can't wait for the great debate tonight! And I have to sub tomorrow...so I won't be sleeping much tonight! Oh well!

make it alright:
As a right wing conservative fanatical zealot, I am offended (almost) by your posting. Then I saw that you're a teacher and everything made sense. It looks like you're looking for work. I hope you find it. And when you do, and if Kerry is the next president, you'll be able to kiss most of your paycheck goodbye. Why don't you visit www.uncivilrights.blogspot.com and come over to the good side.
Liberalism leads to mediocrity and groupthink, be an individual, take responsibility for your own actions, and make the most of your life by being the best. Make a difference. Teach kids to be the best they can be and do the best they can do. Never settle for second place.

first of all, if you were offended by anything i said, that's your problem. I didn't say anything! I posted website links about things I found and liked. I didn't make any of it!

Second, just because I am a teacher, it makes it alright? Just because I am a person it should be alright that I feel the way I do.

Third, how would I be kissing my paycheck goodbye if Kerry were president? Bush is the one losing jobs in the country. And his "no child left behind act" is NOT doing ANY good. Obviously, I see this first hand. If you think it's working, you need to open your eyes.

Fourth, the good side???? Republicans are "the good side"? Are you kidding me? I can't even come up with words on how wrong you are on that one.

I plan on teaching kids to be open-minded, honest and all they can be, whether that is democrat, republican, liberal or conservative.

By unpatriotic liberals, I mean those who want America to be like every other nation (that should never happen), those who are ashamed of America because we are arrogant, those who want to appease not only France, Germany, and Russia, but the terrorists as well. America should be #1 and be proud of it. Rather than bring America down into mediocrity with Spain, France, etc...(did you know there middle-class would be considered poor over here), America should be helping the rest of the world up, and that is what we are doing in Afganistan and Iraq; Democracy and open markets will help there.
God Bless the teachers! My wife has her teaching certificate, and her dad was a principal in a depressed area in our city for 26 years. As for understanding your stance on Kerry, teachers have ties to the democratic party for some reason (I was a union president for several years-I know what I'm talking about). When Kerry has to raise your taxes (and he will) on income and social security, you're check will get smaller and smaller. Take a look at his senate voting record. A president doesn't create jobs or lose them. They create the environment for businesses to expand thereby creating new jobs. Kerry wants to tax businesses (again he will have to to pay for his programs).
I'm not offended by much, I was only kidding about that. Just want to figure out why people don't want less government in their lives. I would really like to know why unions are stuck in the past. Unions could be a real force in this country if they were adapting to the changing social, environmental, and work environments. I was thinking of doing my PhD on that subject.
Keep teaching. Good Luck. Take a look at my blog every now and then, maybe I can write something that will really offend you.

until that last sentence, you sounded nicer today than yesterday.

dude mare, what a shithead. republicans are selfish bastards who would assume that a person's paycheck is equal to their social class or worth. in europe and other places on this big round thing we call earth (and not america sphere as i believe kirsten called it once), people actually live and enjoy their lives instead of slaving away for the big white asshole on the top floor. they go home to their families at lunch-time, they have months of vacation to spend with their families, they have national healthcare. have you ever experienced those things as an american worker? god no. americans work hard, and that's a great thing to be a hard worker. but it's a different thing all together when you base your life around your job, your paycheck, and your visa bill instead of your family, your values and the joy of living. if paying more taxes will feed, educate, and give medical care to those who need it then well shit i guess i'll buy fewer dvd's and hit mcdonalds drive in a few less times. you in humane bumptious asshole.

Amy, that was so well-said. Not that I didn't know you had it in you, but I haven't heard you speak so...oh, I don't even know the word I am looking for. Anyway, yay, Amy!

The socialistic view I've been talking about shines through. The top 20% wage earners pay over 95% of the income taxes to keep (by their own choices) the laziest in creature comforts. I, unlike you, work hard so my familty can enjoy the fruits of my labor, and we can enjoy more time together. I have never asked, nor will I ever ask, to enjoy the fruits of another's labor. Before the government decided to take money from the wage earners and give to others (income redistribution) there was a thing called philanthropy which still exists today on a much smaller scale. That is the way it should be.
If you analyze what your beliefs are, you will find that they are socialistic ideals, and that's fine, but not in America. If everyone thought as you do, and waited for government handouts, and waited for the other guy to do the work and be taxed, eventually, no one would work, and you would find America controlled by the government since the people could not (or would not) take control of their own lives. That is called communism. That is fine also, but not in America.
It is obviously clear by your well educated wit and wisdom that you are one of the liberal, socialistic, and capitalistic hating people, and that's OK too.
Now if you'll excuse me, I am going to drive around needlessly in my Excursion (why an Excursion? Because I couldn't find any thing bigger and more gas -guzzling). Go on with your lives and enjoy the things subsidized by those who work hard, but at least acknowledge the effort they put in to make your life a little better.

i hope when you're in need that you receive better treatment than you deem necessary for others.

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. I have been in need. I worked that much harder because I knew I was in charge of my own destiny. I have earned everything I have. I have not been given anything other than emotional support, and I have succeeded (so far). I am teaching my children to be hard workers also, and not to rely on "gifts" or benefit from the hard work of others.
I believe that if you don't earn what you get, you will never appreciate it.

well, i believe that a child who gets three meals a day, by gift or government, is better off than a child who has to go hungry.
